It arrived it one piece, no broken fragments or anything of that sort. Otherwise, not much to say. It's $3 rosin, it will suit any beginning violinist perfectly fine.

I ordered a second one of these because the first one got dropped and shattered. Before that, I liked it. It comes with a plastic piece that you can use to hold the rosin as you use it, which is very helpful. I can’t compare to many other rosin products because aside from this one, I’ve only used what came with my bow, which was awful.

This is ok for rosin and the price. But it does dry out and start cracking and turns to dust after a while.

This rosin is extremely easy to apply to the bow's horsehair in my cool and dry house. A few light touches is all that is required. An hour of effort using the rosin that came with the violin could not achieve the same effect. I will save that rosin for warmer times.

It's so cute I want to eat it. It also does it's job and has a grip so you don't accidentally touch it and get your greasy fingers all over this beautiful block of wonder. But do be aware that this is not the highest quality. It's a good mid-tier though.

This rosin broke and crumbled very easily. If it is for a typical kid, be sure they treat it very carefully.
