Big improvement in grippiness. I LOVE this rosin. I now have several cakes of amber rosin heading for the thrift shop donation center. This product is a keeper.

I like the dark, and I found that to even it on my bow I use a toothbrush across the bow. To help even it out.

This violin rosin is a decent option for beginner violinits. It provides good grip and sound production but is not the best I've used. It's a little sticky and sometimes leaves residue on the bow hair. Overall, it's a solid choice for beginners or those on a budget.

I've used it but I can't discern if any of the rosen is actually attaching itself to the violin bow's horsehair.
