Was a little concerned about the size of these because I was using them to support heavy pine doors on a large cabinet. These are small but the weight and thickness of these hinges provided a solid fit. I used four hinges per door.In the pictures the hinges look black because I painted over them, lazy me. Cabinet doors work great and not worried at all about them coming loose, good solid screws came with the hinges.

these hinges are somewhat small but very strong and worked out great for me, supporting large lid for a hope chest.

These hinges are several notches above the run-of-the-mill cheap hinges. Fit approaches that of much more expensive Brusso hinges.Plus they do appear to be solid brass vs cheapo plating on other hinges. It would have been nice for a polished brass option, but the brushed look is ok too.Id buy these again without a second thought.

Bought on package for trial. Was so impressed I purchased 4 more. As others have commented fit and finish very good.Pros:Thick enough for hardwood boxes,I find I can mount these on two thicknesses of box materialNot a Bruso Butt hinge but well madecost is reasonableCons: We'll see?

I was really impressed with these hinges. They WAY exceeded my expectations. They came neatly packed in a small box that was made just for them. Each hinge was individually wrapped in a protective foam sleeve. Very good quality. Right up there with Brusso hinges. I've paid three times as much for one pair of Brusso hinges half the size of these. It always bothered me that the most expensive part of a small box I built was the hinges. That's not going to be the case any more.
