I have this on a 15hp kicker to slow down to run harnesses on Lake Erie it work great

Very easy to install. Could be made of better materials but works great. In order for the ease of working a person must read and follow the intructions to make it work right.

it does not fit my 9.8 tohatsu not even close the fins are to narrow or the bolt down bracket is to wide or both. i want to return it but I'm to late.

Just got my trolling plate its made of hard plastic instead of aluminum like for large motors. The listing images doesnt show a clear image but the item description says it's plastic, and review images show the aluminium troll plate. Seems well built with thick materials. The latch is also plastic but the springs are made of metal and very strong.I have a 12foot boat w/ 8hp honda so this troll plate should work perfectly.

Works just as I had hoped. I installed it on a 25hp mercury 2 stroke. And after testing it in the water a few times I was comfortable selling off the kicker motor and saved that weight in my small boat.

Only thing I dislike is that it is White! But...The next choice up is Aluminum so White isn't Horrible? I would love a Black one because painting never works long-term.Thanks for a good product!
