Great deal.. had to tune it to what the paper says that comes with the purchase, took time but worth it. The highest notes on the scale can't resonate well so I suggest a different 17 tine tuning for it and it's very enjoyable

Good quality, download a chromatic tuner app on your phone and get it playing majestically!

My husband loves it. He is very musical and likes to have something to fidget with. This was a good choice of gift for him! Right away he played the Harry Potter theme on it haha.

I think they made it good, but it has to be cleaned prior to given it to the customer. I found a spidder web beneath the strings.

Nice tone, but tuning issues. At least two keys have the same note.

Quick note on tuning:
The tension bar does not loosen, however the easiest way I've found to tune it is by using a wooden dowel rod to push the tines longer or shorter. If you use pliers, you may damage the surface and cause discomfort during play.

The reason it didn't get 5 stars from me is that the edges of the tines are rough on some. A little 400 grit sandpaper will fix it and it will be a beautiful instrument.

Great little instrument. Tuning takes a little time and patience. Go to you-tube for lessons and instruction.

Mediocre quality, some tines have sharp ends and are chrome plated(poorly) so if I sand and smooth them the chrome will flake and become sharp again. Overall playable but barely worth the cost.

This instrument is well made and very beautiful. I bought it for my young adult son who loves to play guitar and harmonica as another feather in his cap. He was very impressed with it.

I love this thing. It's hard to play anything that doesn't sound at least pretty good. It's very soothing to relax and just pluck away at the tines.

The tones are nice but getting it tuned right is rough, some dings in the metal but an excellent buy.
