This bass shaker is an amazing addition to any home theater setup. It adds a whole new dimension to the movie-watching experience by providing a tactile sensation that complements the visual and auditory aspects of the movie. For the price, the performance quality is amazing!

I mounted this to my recliner and it shakes the hell out of my chair, hooked it up to my surround sound system so when playing games or watching movies late night I can turn off my subwoofers and still feel bass and not disturb others. Works Awesome

Bought this to add to the sim rig. Mounted to the bottom of the seat provides awesome feedback of lower frequency sound in a tactile way. For sim racing when paired up with the popular Nobsound mini amp gives distinct feedback in all of the 10-80hz range. This gives me the ability to run about 5-6 different effects without the sound being muddied and confused about what is happening. As for movies, it adds another dimension with scenes that have action, the experience is all better for it.

My first foray into these transducers was when I sold my VR headset in anticipation of the new model coming out. Missing the immersion and playing flat screen games, I was thinking, what can I do? I remembered years ago a friend showing me this thing called a Buttkicker he had in his home theater setup so I looked into that. Too expensive. I stumbled across these guys. I initially bought one. I removed the bottom of my office chair, cut a piece of plywood, got some longer bolts and bolted it all back together. Now I had a solid place to mount this. I got a cheap Nobsound 100w amp with an adjustable low pass filter. I plugged it into an extra usb sound card on my computer, ran my audio through Voicemeter Banana, and was blown away. I don't think I could ever play games without it again. At half volume this thing shakes the chair like crazy. It adds so much immersion! Love it! Fast forward, the new Vr headset came out, I missed the shaker when playing standing VR. I began figuring out how I would make my own bass transducer vest. I initially was going to go with the small Dayton pucks. I bought a four pack and one was dead on arrival. I still wired them up and they have an impressive shake but I didn't like the flimsy wires and just really like these bigger Dayton transducers I can plug my own wires into. I bought a second one. I ran them parallel, pulling a 2 ohm load from my amp, which it can handle and puts out its full 100 watts at 2 ohms. I initially just threw them into a cheap chest bag as a proof of concept with a long speaker wire running to my amp. It worked like I hoped but I wanted to not be tied to a cord for room scale wireless VR. I got a cheap swat tactical vest, the kind with the insertable armor. I cut a 1x12 piece of wood to fit in front and back. Then I screwed these transducers to it front and back. I got a power wheels 18v Ridgid battery adapter and a plug that fits my Nobsound amp. The batteries put out 19-20v which is perfect for my amp. I wired it all together and now I have a mobile transducer bass vest, powered by my drill batteries. I plug it into a headphone splitter on my VR headset. Wow!! This thing is heavy. 15lbs plus. But it is incredible to wear while playing games. One of these is enough to shake a couch, two of these is overkill but oh boy, will it kick you hard. These transducer are heavy, well built, and just amazing to play around with. Have fun with them!

This changes the game entirely. There are a few things that change the world like the microwave oven, the internet, A.I. and now TACTILE BASS SHAKERS!!!If you like to feel the bass, this is the real deal. I have a large basement and could not feel the bass due to the size of the room. These bass shakers changed that entirely. They shine between 30-40hz. I can't wait to share this with my friends and family. Already wanting a couple of these for the car.IF you are on the fence about these and like to feel the base, don't hesitate. You will not regret it.

I screwed the BST-1 into the wood on the side of my recliner and it holds tight. I'm driving it with a 60 watt at 4 ohm full range amplifier and just backed off max volume a skosh. I handle the frequency range with a DSP I already had (you'll need the ability to set a low pass filter). I found it comical to run it at full power at all frequency range, it just non-stop vibrates. It's critical to set a low pass filter so it only vibrates in a specific frequency range, I liked 10hz30hz range, so my low pass filter is around 30hz with a slow butterworth slope roll off. Any higher and it seemed to go off with nearly anything. From 1030hz it only happens when there's something really low and impactful. It adds a nice tactile response. I actually limited it a little more, so its less powerful so it's not subtle but not crazy. I tested it on Edge of Tomorrow and it was totally fine handling the 10hz opener sine wave.

Using 4 of these as bass shakers on each corner of a racing simulator rig, they get the job done easily at only 30 gain of a 50w amp

Bought 4 of the Dayton Audio BST-1 High Power Pro Tactile Bass Shaker 50 Watts RMS. Installed them to the bottom of the chairs in my movie room. Now I can experience my movies in another dimension. I can feel the bass. The booms, bangs and explosions shakes you up like never before. I have these powered by a pair of budget (under $100) car audio amplifiers.

The flimsier the couch the better the effect, mounted in L/R direction to avoid waking the neighbors and paired it with a sub below couch for full range boom.

I bought several other brands to use with my drum kit and home theater but this is by far the best. paired it with a Nobsound G2 Subwoofer Power Amplifier Mini Mono SUB Amp 100W PBTL BTL Bridge and connected it in my car and on my couch.

Wasn't real familiar with audio at this level but once I got the amp and cables and did a little reading it wasn't bad to setup on my gaming chair. Using it with headphones. Setup is computer optical out to DAC to 3.5 mini jack. 3.5 splitter to headphones and the sub amp. Set to just under half volume and dang one of these is more than enough for subtle and more prominent bass.

One of the best purchases I've made. Easily syncs up with sim hub and delivers wonderful feedback through iRacing. An absolute must have for anyone looking to add an extra step of immersion to their Sim racing
