If you have any of the Dayton Audio KAB amplifier boards and want USB for charging then you need this board. There's 2 USB ports that share 2 amps. So if you're just using one port then you'll get the full 2A but with two devices it's 1A each. There is also an AUX input if you don't want to use the Bluetooth on the amp boards. You get much cleaner sound and is a tad bit louder at the very same volume settings. There is an on/off switch but it acts more like a standby switch. This will not cut power to the amp board completely. To do that you'll need to put a switch inline between your power source and the amp board. A big downside is that there's no template available to make the cutouts. It's going to take a bit of trial and error to get the holes and ports aligned.
