The LBB-6S has multiple 25 VDC outputs to power an amp, tone control, Bluetooth, and other preamp component boards. Enjoy the extended listening time you get from Li-Ion batteries on a single charge. 18650 Li-Ion batteries come in a variety of amperages, and to get the longest playtime from a 200W amplifier or amp board use at least 2600mAh batteries.There\'s no need to remove the batteries from the holder because the Dayton Audio LBB-6S has a built-in charge circuit. Just plug in a power supply and the over/under charge circuit prevents correctly installed batteries from overcharging and fully discharging, shortening their life. The LBB-6S battery board needs a 5 to 24 VDC power supply (sold separately) to start the charging process and to start its output power. This enables you to listen to music while the batteries are charging with this amazing battery holder. To view charging and battery status press the push button on the battery board, or use Dayton Audio\'s push button and LED kit (sold separately) to view status externally. The LBB-5CL also comes with input and output charging and power cables. If you remove a battery, the power supply must be plugged into the holder for the battery board to start working again when the battery or batteries are reinstalled. If the battery board is not working for lack of use, plug the power supply in momentarily to kick start it. To prevent kicking on the overload protection circuit, turn the volume of amplifier board down before turning off and back on when using an inline switch. The polarity of the batteries must match the polarity of the battery holder to prevent damage. To charge and power 5 VDC devices, and recharge the LBB-6S battery board outside your project use Dayton Audio\'s . It has two USB ports that put out 2A of current for smart phones, tablets, and other 5 VDC devices. The board also has a 2.1 x 5.5 tip positive DC coax power jack so you don\'t have to solder in an external charging jack. To make it even easier the LBB-5EB includes a 6-pin 8\" wiring harness that plugs directly into the battery board J1 socket. The LBB-6S has two IC chips that balance the charge rate to keep the batteries at the same voltage when fully charged. If one battery has less voltage, the other batteries will slowly discharge while the weak battery charges. This causes extremely long charge time so it\'s best to start out with all new batteries with the same mAh rating. New batteries usually start out with the same amount of voltage so the charge time closely follows the specs listed. Six LEDs on the board monitor each individual battery for balancing status. If one of the LEDs stays lit after charging for a few hours, that battery might have issues or is discharging while the rest of the batteries are trying to catch up.Note: The Dayton Audio LBB-6S is an independent battery holder board and its design does not work with Dayton Audio KAB board\'s built-in charge circuit. Plug the LBB-6S into the two wire DC input on the KAB boards or use Dayton Audio battery board KAB-BE with Dayton Audio KAB Bluetooth amp boards.Specifications: Output voltage: 25 VDC @ 5A Max Input voltage required: 5 to 24 VDC at least 2A recommended DC coax jack size: 2.1 x 5.5 mm center (+) polarity Battery holder: Six x 18650 Li-Ion (sold separately) Dimensions: 5.1\" W x 3.6\" D x 1.38\" H (130 x 92 x 35 mm) Charge times to 90% capacity with maximum current setting: 5V 2A 30 hrs., 12V 2A 7 hrs., 19V 2A 4 hrs., 24V 2A 3 hrs.Product Details BrandDayton Audio ModelLBB-6S Part Number325-216 UPC848791008955 Unit of MeasureEach Weight0.4 Product Specifications Board TypeBattery & Power 14845052 848791008955 0.4800lbs 0.00 0.00 0.00
