I used a 25v 220uF capacitor in series with this full range speaker and it cleans up the low end. Without it this speaker cant play as loud as it is capable. If your intent is for sound quality at low volumes then I would install acouple resistors in parallel with this speaker to reduce its output. For my needs though I needed to filter out the very low end bass abit so that it doesnt distort at high listening volumes. After I had done this the speaker sounds great and seems to actually hit notes from 50hz at very low DB and100hz normal listening level to 20000hz in a ported box, 0.5cuft, TO THE BRIM WITH POLY FILL, 1 port that is 6 long.

I have an old Logitech z5500 and the speakers were showing their age.These 3 full-range drivers turned out to be an excellent replacement. Clear mid-range and crisp heights. The sound quality I believe is better now than when my system was when new.My only complaint is not with the product, but with the packaging. The drivers came in flimsy boxes, with no internal padding to protect the speakers. Two of the units came with mild damage to the chassis.
