This came in a little bigger than I expected. However, it is completely unobtrusive setup by my nightstand, and would easily fit under the bed. It works just like the other Dayton active subs, meaning the crossover and gain controls provide all of the flexibility I could want, along with more than enough volume. Just another great product from Dayton. I'll be adding one of these to our living room system.

great sub woofer for a 15x15 room also with 6 inch height can slide under my sofa with ease and adds that rumble that you want to feel on the sofa with sporting events and movies .

I needed to fit a sub under a credenza to warm up the audio from four Sonance ceiling speakers. This does very nicely, but do not expect roll-your-socks-down thunder. It is nice to warm up the sound and extend the low end. I am pleased...

This is a great way to add a bit of thump without taking up much space. I installed in a corner between a cabinet and the wall. You'd never know it was there unless pointed out!

This unit is a fantastic value for a subwoofer that will do everything most people will need. Some have criticized how low it will play. It may be that the specs are not as good as some others, but it is clean, solid, and powerful in a home theater setup in my 12x17 room. If you want crazy low bass you can get a huge sub with better performance but you will not do better than this with any 12-15 cube-style sub, and a cube is much harder to hide. And the price is unbeatable. I love everything about it.

Double boxed, came damaged anyways.Auto feature does not work properly.Build quality is sub-par.It does deliver in bass performance though and this is the only reason I am keeping it, but boy do the previously mentioned issues chaff at me.Most annoying: The Auto Turn On feature activates when the bass note hits and then, if the bass is not constant, it immediately turns off. This results in a 'tap' noise. it may not be audible if it is under a couch or at the other side of the room, but if you are near the sub you will hear it. Annoying. The feature is useless and I do not use it.The vinyl wrap is the cheapest and worst I have ever seen.Only keeping because it is an American company and it does deliver good bass performance in a useful form factor.

Big sound and great quality from an old standard in this line of business. Not going to bash a competitor, but this unit replaced a dual tower 10 inch system that bit the dust during a storm. This is louder and clearer by far and half the price! Highly recommend.

Great sub for small to medium room and/or apartment/condos. You will get the bass you would expect from a 10 inch 100 watt subwoofer. The Auto On works perfectly. I highly suggest in getting a second one if you can fit it. Plenty of information on the advantages of dual subs.
