Mic is advertised as calibrated. Here's a response from the vendor:Although our calibration method compares favorably with NVLAP NIST-traceable standards and confirmed by professionals in the industry. We can't make those claims nor can we provide a “certificate/document” stating it. For NIST certification we would need to have the microphones correction calibration done in a NIST certified facility which would significantly increase the costs.

Cheap and easy to use. Comparable to other mics.

Product is of high quality, and the instructions were clearly written and easy to carry out. Calibration file was needed but was available as a download from the manufacturer, requiring only the serial number of unit. Software is likewise easy to use and install. Recommended for home theatre calibration.

This calibrated mic is perfect for someone that needs accuracy but doesn't have a mint to spend. It is very accurate and does exactly what I needed.

Very decent for the price paid

I used this microphone to measure the speakers in a three-way speaker rebuild. I used REW to test the speakers and then VirtuixCAD to design the crossovers based on the results of the tests. Being a newby to all of this, I don't know if I did everything correctly or if REW is even supposed to be used for this purpose, but the end product sounds great to me.One thing to note: I also got the recommended mobile app for Android, which seemed to work, but after a lot of back and forth I went with REW. Maybe I should have tried the ascending tone in the app rather than pink noise (which REW uses), but I felt more confident in the REW result.Another thing to note: in REW, I would recommend choosing to do multiple cycles (or runs) for each test, and it will automatically average them.

Great mic for its money

IMO you won't find anything better -this mic does the job and is very reasonable price.

seems to work well enough but i have nothing else to compare. i use it with RTA app on phone that takes calibration file. i'm using for tuning my car audio projects. no complaints so far.

Used this mic to tune car audio ad it does the job extremely well for what it is. I would recommend it if you need one for a few set ups. Obviously its not an end solution, but for what I needed it worked perfectly.

Used with my phone to eq my car audio. Sounds so much better now. Phone microphone by itself isn't good for rta but this mic with the calibrated file is great!!!
