I am an IDPA safety officer, chief safety officer, match director, and often the scorekeeper. Not being able to hear while no one is shooting is not helpful. The inexpensive (often free) foam earplugs work well, but you can't hear well/at all if needed. I didn't want electronic hearing protection that constantly needs charging or batteries. These with the percussive filters work well with good NRR, but allow you to hear range commands or scores when no one is shooting. I only gave 4 stars for comfort since I probably didn't mold them well. Easily re-moldable though. I have no affiliation with Decibullz nor was I provided product or incentive for this review. Decibullz hearing protectors worked excellent for me at the Trap shooting range.

I'm in New Zealand and the delivery was very quick and arrived before the dye date. Instructions on how to mould/fit the unit to your ear was very clear.Used for clay shooting and the noise cancellation was good while still being able to have a conversation

I do quite a lot of shooting, and was looking for a product that would provide excellent ear protection without conflicting with my cheek to stock weld while shooting rifles. The Decibullz worked as advertised.I found the molding process to be easy, though it took a few tries to get the fit right for one ear. Molds come with with 2 sets of earplugs, foam and baffle types. The foam ears were comfortable and provided he best noise protection, and I wore them for several hours of rifle (.223 and .308) and pistol shooting without any discomfort. Frankly, I forgot about them being in.I am very happy with the purchase, the price seems reasonable given the performance they provided, and I would recommend them.

Read instructions fully. Twice. Then read them again. Slowly. If you'll do that, you should be fine. They seem to work ok. Haven't had to shoot with them yet, but they do cancel loud noises well.

Easy to mold. Noise cancellation is a bit less than I hoped for, but I can hear non percussive sounds almost like I’m not wearing them. Very comfortable even for long periods. Ok for shooting 22 cal, but 9 mm or bigger is a bit too loud, I wear them under electronic muffs and it’s a great combination.

Got these for my husband he says that they are very comfortable once you get them molded it did take two tries on one ear to get it molded but we were able to get it done he bought these specifically for when we go to the shooting range.

Seems to work well. I can hear the conversation without removing them.
