Mission: To create theatre of the highest professional quality in delaware and thereby enrich the vitality of the area through artistic programming, education, and community service.

Programs: Presentation of theatrical plays to subscribers, ticket buyers, including school groups. Delaware theatre company (dtc) produces professional theatrical plays throughout the year. Many of the shows initially produced at dtc move on to broadway or off-broadway. In addition to their mainstage productions, dtc has had a community education program for the last 25 years. This ensemble-based program touches schools, nursing homes and prisons. Since 1979, dtc has presented nearly 200 professional theatrical productions and in the 2016-17 season realized a 70% increase in subscriptions and a 234% increase in single ticket purchases. The education and community engagement program increased its participants by more than 100%.
