Wish they were more comfortable , because the color is a deep cherry and I love the idea of them turning more red with time and wear- but ultimately I found the smooth leather to be too stiff , shiny and wasn't fond of the feeling. They were made in Vietnam - and I found the 39 EU / 8W to fit true to size

I knew these boots were popular and I wanted to get a pair. I was concerned that they would be uncomfortable but they are not, they feel great. Also the price was right because they were selling for a lot more everywhere else. My daughter bought them for me and I love them! Yes, I am an older woman with young fashion style when it comes to boots. You older gals can where them too!

I'm a nurse and stand all day with a lead apron on, so needless to say my feet hurt. I've always wanted to try Dr. Marten's boots, and I finally bought a pair. They are totally worth the money - super comfortable and chic and they look great with skirts and dresses. I can walk everywhere in these - I've worn them to numerous city festivals and out to dinner with friends. I can't say enough good things about them. It took a bit of time to break them in, and you need to wear thick socks with them, but I can see them lasting for years.

These boots met all my expectations. I have owned Docs in the past but not recently so I bought these for myself for my birthday. They look great and fit perfectly (I have large feet). One thing I will mention is as anyone who wears Docs knows, the boots will take about 3 weeks to fully break in so you may want to wear them a little at a time until they are broken in to prevent pain and/or blisters. Otherwise I highly recommend you purchase them as once broken in, you can wear them forever. Overall, I'm satisfied!

Everywhere I shopped for new Docs, the 1460s ran $150 across the board. I just needed a pair for a photo shoot and an event so I really couldn't justify paying full price. Luckily I found this listing for a pair in Used-Good condition. I got them the next day after ordering and tried them on right away. It looked like they were just tried on and used outside one before the person returned them. I didn't mind the condition at all for how much $ I saved! And I'm happy that they weren't resold as new or thrown out. I'll never hesitate to buy used things again!

My first pair of docs and I am obsessed! They are so comfortable despite what everybody said I broke into them really fast and they were not uncomfortable for my wife feet. I wear them with dresses, leggings, and jeans. Love them

Perfect fit, right out of the box. I have some other dr martens and these are the most comfortable. Usually wear size 8 or 8.5 - got these in 8 and they fit like butter. The nappa leather is not as stiff as regular leather (but not that soft either so it keeps nice shape) but super light. Highly recommended.

I had a pair of these, about 25 years ago, that I loved and wore out. I couldn't remember the exact type of 1460 I had back then, but I wanted the exact same boot. It's hard to buy footwear online and know exactly what you're getting have the right fit. I was so happy these were exactly what I wanted, and they look feel great. I've gotten lots of compliments on them.

This is my second pair of the women's last 1460 (and my 5th pair of Docs) My first are smooth leather and were hell to break in. Since I already broke in docs in the early 90s, I don't feel like I need additional street cred by torturing myself with breaking in docs now. The Nappa is much softer and more giving and thus much easier to wear. I have pretty normal width feet and a very low instep. If I had any higher of one, I would not be able to wear these as they would be too tight across the top of my foot. If you have a decent arch or wider fit, definitely opt for the original unisex last. Also, the nappa has a cheaper feel and probably only cost $150 because they are Docs (not because they are quality leather).
