Mission: Desire Street Ministries began in 1990 in the Upper Ninth Ward of New Orleans, LA. Today, Desire Street is using its 25+ years of experience to develop thriving and sustainable urban ministries by employing strategic partnerships to effectively and efficiently reach hundreds of inner-city children and their families throughout the Southeast. Desire Street currently works intensively with leaders in varying stages of a 3-5 year partnership agreement, while also providing day-long topical seminars for leaders and sharing our expertise and support with several leaders annually who contact us for counsel.
