I like these scrubs because of the fact that they are made of a heavier/thicker material than other scrubs. These actually keep you warm. Those that work in the healthcare field surely know how thin scrub pants can be and how it feels like you wearing next to nothing during cold winters! You will not have to worry about freezing your butt off if you are wearing these! I also love the MANY pockets these have, I mean, there are pockets everywhere! They also have a little elastic loop on the left mid-thigh area that I find is great for hooking on a small bottle of hand sanitizer. They are true to fit, maybe running just the slightest bit on the larger side. They are also true to length, but I purchased the tall, because I am 5'8.5. They hold up to washing very well, doesn't wrinkle much, and doesn't fade with wash. One thing to note is that although they do not have a low rise waist, they are certainly not mid waist either. So if you stoop down a lot, your bottom may be exposed if not wearing a longer shirt. I have these in a few colors, but I find that the black can actually be worn as an everyday pant depending on what top you wear with it. I picked up a second job and the dress code is business casual, only allowing for black or khaki pants, and black, blue, or white polo shirt. These pants passed for the business casual dress code. I even have coworkers asking where I brought these pants from. I did notice that the black pair attracts more dust and lint than the other colors.

I have numerous sets of Dickies Gen Flex scrubs (have owned about 15 pairs of pants and 10 tops), bought at various times, through various sources. My first recommendation is to find a retailer that sells these so you can try them on to get the right fit and save on frustration. I am 5'3&#34; (120lbs) and a US 6 (occasionally an 8). However, these pants were not right as a small for me, even though all the measurements have me as a small. As I have unusually long legs for such a tiny person, I had to go up an entire size (the small were like flood pants). This does mean they tend to look baggy on me, but I don't mind the extra room and the drawstring keeps the pants from falling down when tugged. I haven't purchased these since the addition of the &#34;tall&#34; option (or at least didn't notice the last time I bought them), so I may be able to move to small now. (Originally sizes were regular or petite only).<br /><br />I love these scrubs. I have been wearing them regularly since 2012 and they are still my go-to pant (not just scrub). I find the pants wear out about 2 years with regular use (mine start to deteriorate in the inner thigh eventually developing holes, the drawstring frays and the elastic waist wears out). These pants clean easily. I used to work in a lab so that was incredibly important. Bleach does discolor the fabric, but not to the same extent as most fabrics. Additionally, the pockets are a life saver. The side top pockets are deep enough to completely encase my S5 and S7 phones without risk of falling out (with a notch sewn in the top so the phone stays even when I sit). They will fit in the knee pockets as well, but tend to fall out when bending as did my pens. However, soft materials fit well in those cargo pockets, such as spare gloves and notes. The fabric is slightly stretchy so there is more give than a traditional scrub. However, this stretch is nothing like cotton. I notice the stretch most when putting the scrub on (esp. in the top since it has the nice hour glass shape) and when bending.<br /><br />There are also a wide variety of colors available. I tend toward the darker pant colors just because they are easier to clean (and black goes with every top color!). Every season there are 1-2 extra colors offered, so keep an eye out if you've got a color you really like that looks like it's out of stock/discontinued. They tend to bring them back the next year. In spring one year, I got my pink and fall, an orange as special colors.<br /><br />My only complaints are: 1) the price because they are very pricey and rarely go on sale (but worth every penny for me to keep coming back) 2) the stitching at the knee where the top part and bottom part of the pant come together irritates my knees when I bend/stoop which happens a LOT for me (just enough to be an annoyance, not enough to leave more than superficial marks on my skin) 3) the material is rather thin, so in winter, I would wear something on top of or underneath to keep warm if I'm outside for any length of time.

These are my favorite scrub pants. They've got pockets for days, and are quite durable. I have the white ones and one thing I really love is that the fabric is sturdy enough you can't really see through it. I don't feel the need to wear shorts or leggings under these at work.

These are by far the best scrubs for working nurses! I have bought many other brands for looks but they are not functional for my needs POCKETS! Scissors, sharpie, pen light, cell phone, pen, chap stick, credit card, alcohol pads & notes are the basics I carry and Dickies accommodates all of these items plus more!! I always come back to Dickies and I have converted several other nurses to my love for these reliable and durable scrubs.
