Product Description
The poem Adoring Angels is arranged over a white feather design on this lovely wall decor piece. It briefly describes Jesus' time on earth from the angels' point of view. Words are on the underside of glass that's raised 3/4" above the background print. Frame is wood with a black finish; outer size is 9" x 11" x 1 1/4". Print and glass size is 8" x 10". On back is a hanger plus pull out easel for wall or tabletop display. Poem is by Daniel S. Williams. Words of poem: They danced for joy and sang out loud; they knew the end was near. Yet, on the earth was quiet peace; the people didn't hear. The baby lay in silent sleep upon a bed of hay; a testament of old and new had come to earth that day. They watched Him grow to be a man and loved Him more each day; they longed to gather at His feet to hear the words He'd say. At times His flesh so thin would wear, attention would He need. "Send me, O Father, I can go, " they all would beg and plead. Then came the day they'd waited for; upon the cross He hung. Yet, when He said, "it's finished, " not a song by them was sung. The heavens now were quieted; only the Father knew that on the third day He would rise for all of them to view. "Come quick, " said Michael, "there He is. Now risen I our Lord." And filled with music once again they now a new song scored. "Glory to the lamb of God and praises will we bring, for you All Mighty King of Kings are why we angels sing."
