These lights were great for our Halloween exhibit. They were also great to have around the house during blackouts from PGE or the weather.

Bought a set of four. The three that worked are great - small size, bright light, AA batteries, battery compartment opens easily, and simple on/off control. The fourth lantern did not work no matter what I tried. Even tried using Duracell batteries and it was still dead. Oh well. The price was still good for 3 of them. BTW the batteries that come with the lanterns work.

These laterns are light weight, well constructed, and offers an awesome amount of bright illumination in each unit. The price point was acceptable for a set up four lanterns. I find lanterns to be safer and more efficient than standard candles... not messy was, no fear of causing a fire, and easily transportable. Light it up with these laterns!

Quality of construction leaves something to desire. On the other hand the customer service is very good. Quickly replaced one lantern that just fell apart with no difficulty.

I have several of these around the house in case of power outages. The grandkids like to take them in their forts when they play too. I don't recommend hanging them by the handles when storing because they tend to get looser as they age and will open a little as they hang, which triggers the lights to turn on. When the handles are down, they will clip into the base, essentially locking them closed to avoid accidentally powering them on. They don't hold up well if you drop them though.

Me and my husband love these. Compatible, light, and very bright. Mainly bought for ice fishing but we use them everywhere. Reason for putting 4 stars is because one didn't work/was broke when we took it out of the package but that could've been a handler issue.

These are very bright but they do not cast the light very far. Even with these lanterns hanging high in the room the light does not penetrate very far into the room. They are helpful to be able to move from place to place in a darkened space but they do not light the entire space. They are also very difficult to read by almost too bright.

These compact lanterns are easy to use and battery installation is easy too. All you do to turn the lantern on is pull the top of the lantern up, and you just unscrew the base to install batteries (no tools needed). The lights are very bright and can be adhusted by by the degree to which you open the lanterns. The light is a bit harsh though, which is the reason I gave it 4 stars.

I didn't think I was going to like these lamps before I got them but I found out different. I love these little lanterns. They are small and lightweight but they put out a lot of light. The fact that they're battery powered to me is a plus. Cause I don't have to charge them before I use it. They are perfect for camping or just being in a place where there's no light. I'll probably order more over the summer.

We used these when we lost power during Hurricane Ian and let me say what lifesavers these things were. We had a small generator and can only power on a few things but these allowed us to have enough brightness at home while everything was pitch dark. I have 4 kids and the 2 oldest loved carrying these around while walking around. It lasted us two days and I’m sure we can get much more use out of them.

Easy to use, lightweight, good price. Does not stay bright enough after first use. I only have them on a few hoursIn the evening then turn them off. I wanted them to stay bright like the first use!
