Buttons always seem to wear out on remotes, especially for us channel surfers. When I last needed a new remote from Directv, they sent the larger remote with so many buttons. After it started having button issues, I didn't want to pay a high price again for something that only lasts two years. This price, and the original smaller remote was perfect. All good thus far.

A lot of the buttons weren't working on the old remote - so glad we got this one. There is a feature on Directv that allows you to copy your remote settings, so setting up the new remote is a breeze.
