A lot of the buttons weren't working on the old remote - so glad we got this one. There is a feature on Directv that allows you to copy your remote settings, so setting up the new remote is a breeze.

Super easy set up! Works great - should have purchased this a few years earlier. On my Vizio TV, I just follow the prompts on the screen to program the remote and it was working in minutes.

Perfect. when I turned the TV satellite receiver ON, A prompt message appeared on the TV guiding me to program the control to my specific equipment. The USED controls I previously ordered, gave me no instructions. I returned the USED controls and reported them as Defective when in fact, they might have worked if instructions were included.
