Seems more durable than my original one from DirecTV. It also has more of a grip feel, not uncomfortable, but kind of a gritty feel so it doesn't slide around in my hand like my other one.

Bought this when my old remote stopped working even after changing batteries. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to program it ( I'm in my seventies) but the directions were as easy as can be. I simply followed each step and to my pleasant surprise the new remote started working.Don't hesitate to buy this.

The DirecTV remotes are simple, unlike some remote controls. It has all the features you need and none of the ones you don't.It was a good price and it arrived in a timely manner. When the dog chews your old one, speed is of the essence.
