Mission: The Disabled Rights Action Committee (DRAC) works to establish equal rights for people with disabilities through enforcement of federal and state laws, including the 1990 Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). DRAC advocates for legislative action and other measures to improve these rights, including care, treatment, housing, and accessibility.
Results: We have brought more than 1200 housing units into substantial compliance with the Federal Fair Housing Act. We have brought more than 500 businesses/retail stores and restaurants into substantial legal compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Programs: Physical accessibility: access to businesses, stores, gas stations, restaurants and other places of public business is a right granted under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Achievements: DRAC has been responsible for bringing over 500 businesses and restaurants into compliance with the ADA. DRAC also provides case management services to folks with disabilities through the Utah New Choices Waiver program.
