Mission: We provide tutoring and educational outreach to individuals who have opened their homes and hearts by adopting or fostering rescued dogs. Our tips and techniques assist people and pets to achieve that happy, peaceful co-existence as they journey together in life. We also loan out gently used items (i. e. dog coats, baby gates, crates, specialty equipment, leashes, harnesses, etc. ). In addition we provide home visits for those who are unable to visit our six acre facility. We are graduate level trained educational professionals able to deliver humane education courses or workshops in school settings or on site.

Results: Since our inception six years ago we have provided hundreds of rescued dogs (and their people) with tutoring, tips and techniques. This service has resulted in the positive impact of many clients being able to work through behavioral or educational issues with coaching which would have, in the past, perhaps prompted their dog's return to a shelter or rescue organization. We have developed a tight partnership with many local rescue organizations to educate their volunteers and foster friends in order to provide humane, effective handling techniques for dogs. We have also provided volunteerism types of opportunities for local businesses and students and are grateful to many for their helping hands.

Target demographics: Those who have adopted dogs from shelters or rescue organizations, or those who are fostering dogs for non profit organizations

Direct beneficiaries per year: Over ten dogs per week (as well as their adopters or foster friends)

Geographic areas served: The tri-state area (NY, NJ, PA, DE)

Programs: Tips and techniques to address common behavioral issues adopters may encounter with their rescued (or fostered) dog.
