Since Neutrogena discontinued their excellent lip moisturizer, I've been looking for months for a flavorless one that is not waxy like Chapstick is. And this is it! If you can handle all the religious talk that is printed on the cardboard packaging, this is a very good lip moisturizer.

I have always had awful chapped lips. I have tried almost every lip balm on the market, from the cheapest drugstore brands to expensive cosmetic company ones and nothing ever worked well. I was about to try a prescription out of desperation- which is a bad idea because they contain Cortisone which is softening, but thins your lips out over time. I tried this because of my long faith in Dr. Bronner's soaps and it is better than I could have dreamed! I have a tube everywhere and my full lips need it 4 or 5X a day. The flavor is pleasant and the texture is light and my lips stay moist and soft. It's also really reasonable.

Because it's unscented, I don't use it as a lip balm. But I keep it on hand as a handy moisturizing stick for small dry spots on my elbows or hands and as a lubricant for when my shoes start giving me blisters. I love Dr. Bronner's!
