I've been a Drakkar Noir user ever since it came out in 1982, and love it to this day but this Drakkar Intense is truly superb. I think it gets better an hour or two after. Very happy I tried this and will certainly purchase again. My only fear is that it might surpass Noir.

As the title indicates, it is not a flanker of Drakkar Noir. When you first spray it on, there is that similar base (green, Fougere) but on the dry down (within 30 minutes or so), it is different. This has a little more spice. It also has more hints of leather and is slightly creamier. The drawback is the performance. Although an EDP concentration, it does not last long (around 3 to 4 hours at the most). I would purchase again if the price dropped considerably.

Because of its longevity which is about 2-4 hours then it becomes a skin scent or pretty much undetectable, so this would be ideal for a date night , intimate settings or if you're just wanting some attention for about 2 hours. It is a nice scent that smells good and fresh

I normally wear Drakar Noir but it's more expensive and has a much stronger scent. The Drakar Intense is not as it sounds it's a much lighter and fresh sent.

they kept the bergamot which is nice, but its very different from Noir being that the vanilla patchouli suade combo makes it a lot more powerful of an aroma. it does not smell alcoholic or cheap. very velvety and not at all spicy. id buy it twice

I love the Guy Laroche Drakkar products, they smell great, unfortunately, they don't last long (2 to3 hrs.,), but at their prices, they are still a great product, if only for a short while.

I got this for my boyfriend as he was talking about wanting this since it came out, he has an original Drakkar, as well. I personally like this one much better. He loves it too!
