I mistakenly bought another brand when my 10 year old dynabrade died. Killed it in 3 months. I just used the new one for the last two days and there is nothing even comparable to this dream machine! I have been professionally fabricating and painting 30years wood; metal, composites, ect. There is no better than dynabrade!

My husband and son paint cars for a living at a shop. This sander is used on a daily basis and gets plenty of wear and tear. On average with the hours a day they use it the sander lasts about 6 years. They will not buy any other sander-this is their favorite!!!!

Use this for auto body paint prep with a 3m soft pad 05546. This is a great surface prep tool for paint, not to aggressive not to fine. 3/16 cut. Price is great for the product compared to tool truck sanders at over $300 and works better in my opinion. Get 2 almost for the price of one, so you can get another that has a different cut to it 3/8 (59010) with the orange handle for more aggressive cut and the 3/32 (59025) with the black handle for finer cut suitable to use to denib clear coat before buffing.
