I'm pretty sure my Matco eraser was a Dynabrade, but it was cheaper to buy this one than it was to get my old Matco rebuilt. I'm VERY impressed with its performance. I installed an air regulator on it because it's way easier to adjust the speed on the fly, rather than use a screwdriver on the handle, but it makes quick work of any decal or double-sided tape I encounter. Be careful with panels that have been repainted, it may peel the paint with the sticker. Turn the speed WAY down on those panels

This works amazingly and accurately! It cleanly removes my decals. It is sturdy and durable and gets the job done. This is definitely worth it! Great value for money! I highly recommend.

Well, I thought this was a complete ready to use item when ordered. When it arrived I realized that I had to find and buy arbors and cutting media that only fits this tool. After getting a few different styles of media I was ready to go. We've been using an SCT contour for stripping for years and have wanted to try the Dynabrade Nz1. It does work very well, easily controlled with one hand, gets into tighter places, and leaves a nice clean surface behind. But you will need to be sure you can keep it feed with air!! This tool likes a lot of air and pressure, it seemed to work best regulated to about 125psi, but air consumption might be an issue if you don't have a large compressor, using a single cylinder 33 gallon style it will be out of air in just a few minutes of use. The 60 gallon single cylinder was just barley able to keep it going, but again after a few minutes of use the pressure was down a bit and the compressor was constantly running. Moving up to our large IR 200psi,250SCFM scroll compressor with 2 100 gallon surge tanks and this tool really comes to life!! This was the amount of air that the tool needed to keep up with what the electric contour tool could do.The tool does exactly what it should and does it well, but unless you can keep it fed with air, it really needs an industrial style air system, you will be better off with an electric style for most people's home or personal shop setup.

I pulled off some moldings from my monte carlo and there was a gooey substance left behind. I could rub on it with my finger and it would come off, but after 10 minutes and a sore finger, I gave up. This tool, used with the NOT supplied Pad, works AWESOME!! I had that crap off in no time!! There is some residue left over, but nothing some wax couldn't remove.
