So far I'm in love. If this suction keeps up my floors will be cleaner than I ever imagined. The last thing I did with my previous vacuume, before it died, was vacuume the hallway. The dyson sucked up so much dirt it feels like I shampooed the carpet. There were hidden cities of dust bunnies. Who knows how many dust mite societies I may have sucked out of existence. Had they discovered art and language? The world will never know.It was easy to put together if you followed the picture directions and made sure the parts meant to click, did. I have severe tendonitis and I put this together myself so I'm surprised that other buyers thought it was so difficult.It's lose jointed compared to the stiff normal vacuume so that it can manuver anywhere. But it does make me feel a bit like I'm vacuuming with a marionette. It's a change that I'm looking forward to getting used to.I've always wanted one of these but could never afford it. I've coveted it like a golden apple. I finally have my precious, may it never turn to brass.

Love my new vacume. It really does suck up the dirt. This is my second Dyson in 16 years. Yep, my old animal dyson lived 16 years! I'll never buy another brand.

The one thing that it needs is a light on it so you can see better when vacuuming in a darker house.

I have owned Dyson's for many years, and they keep getting better and better. This one tops them all. There's no better vacuum.

This vacuum cleaner really Sucks. It sucks so well it pulls the dirt of the ground under the house. LOL. SERIOUSLY IT WORKS GREAT. I purchased the Animal 2 in Dec.2000. My home has very minimal traffic (one person). Every time I vac. it continues to pull sand and lint out of the carpet that was left behind from previous vac. I HIGHLY recommend this vac.

Save yourself a few bucks and get a Shark. Much better quality and many more features. This Dyson has poor hose design and the plastic body and parts are flimsy. Overpriced crud. I will never spend money on another Dyson. Gimmick.

I had my last Dyson pet vacuum cleaner for 20 years it still ran it just had started falling apart this one is a little different as far as the ball movement but it has the best section I think a vacuum cleaner could have.

This is my second Dyson in 15 yrs. I always go for the corded type. This last one is a bit heavy but still love it. Suction is awesome and love how flexibility of the head. Easy cleaning.

Well what can I say, bought another Dyson. My last Dyson lasted 16 years the best I've ever owned. Always had pets, kitties doggies. This Dyson called “animal” is fitting, it actually pulls you along because the suction is so strong! So when you first get it and put it together, don't be concerned because it seems so heavy once this beast is turned on it works it's magic best vacuum I've ever had hands-down!

Worked way better than I thought. Used my other vacuum first then this and this knee picked so much my other vacuum left behind. My carpets looked great after.

Okay so I have a Sebo I paid 2 times the amount. I adopted a Great Pyrenees and the Sebo didn't pick up the dog hair..and there is A LOT of hair. I borrowed my daughters 15 year old Dyson and WOW it sucked it right up. I immediately bought this Dyson and it's been a game changer. If you have a dog that sheds I recommend you invest in this! Caviot, I have one plush rug in my bedroom and the suction is so strong it's hard to push. It would be great if the suction was adjustable or more able to raise hight.
