The switch on my dyson failed. I contacted Dyson as it was under warranty, but I couldn't the operator on the other end of the line to figure out exactly which part I needed. I just ended up buying it here when I realized how inexpensive it was. Dyson designed this to be easily replaced. There are a couple of good YouTube videos out there to walk you through it.

I liked that the product was a perfect fit and fix for my Dyson Vacuum. We have a fair deal of carpet in our home and I think we probably vacuum more than an average household, so burning through a switch doesn't seem so un-reasonable. However, this is my 2nd one that I bought from this seller. The 1st one from here only got me about a year of use. At about $10.... it's not a big deal I guess.

Even the repair shops in the metro area said they would have to order the Dyson sweeper switch. I ordered this one for a MUCH better price, and it was delivered in four days. Simple to install. My thanks to the vendor.
