Perfect solution for my Dyson Animal D65. Easy to install; much cheaper than paying a Dyson repair center to do it. Would encourage anyone to try fixing the Dyson yourself whenever you can. Their vacuums' parts are easily replaced even if the vacuums themselves have declined in quality.

I'm so incredibly happy I decided to try to repair the broken switch on my Dyson, myself! For less than $15 bucks my Vacuum cleaner is good as new. It was an incredibly easy repai - Literally, I removed four screws, took the cover off, slid the old switch out, slid the new switch in, put the cover back on and replaced the screws. Nothin' to it!

Watch out for the little plastic tabs on the switch assembly. After you take off the four screws the tabs will still be holding the assembly in - and they break easily. They're probably not needed, but still.
