I saw another comment stating the part was wrong due to the end pieces being different. I had the same issue. However, all you have to do is unscrew a screw at both ends of the replacement piece and screw on your original end pieces. It worked perfect for me and saved my very expensive vacuum!

These 2 end pieces that come with the brush are too short and do not line up with screw holes. However if you transfer the end pieces of the original brush it will work. It's one screw so pretty easy. I did have to knock out the middle piece of one as you can see but still easy.

I have a DC41, this part says for a DC41, but the mounts are too big.

NOT OEM Dyson. The number of bristles was off along with the size. Went to the Dyson site and ordered there.

Not only is this not original but the quality is no where near as good. The bristles are a fraction of the thickness as the original and it does not fit the dc17 like it says it does.

The rollers on my machine were making a terrible grinding noise. I discovered the bearings were shot, so bought this roller to replace the original. The vacuum is like new nowsaved a lot.

Everything looks the same except the end brackets. It is not designed for Dyson animal 2. You will need to remove your old brackets and re-use it. I was paying more money for OEM dyson parts but it is not the right fit.

The brush rollers fit ok but the end pieces that house the bearings were different and wouldn't work. I was able to remove the old ends and reuse them and it worked fine

I've been refurbishing my old Dyson and I'm embarrassed at how long I waited to replace worn out parts and components. This 1 part made the most difference! The amount it picked up in the carpet.....Oh boy couldn't tell how dirty it truly was. Now the fibers stand up and the whole room seems brighter.
