This product did exactly what it intended to do. The previous hose on my Animal 2 was broken and lost almost all suction.This hose is made very similar to the one the that came on the vacuum, so I am sure it will suffer the same fate as the previous. Time will tell how long this one lasts, since the previous hose lasted almost 4 years.Install is fairly straightforward and simple. The only negative is the button on the hose extension is red and not purple - which is the color of the animal 2, but honestly who cares - it's not being entered into a vacuum contest for aesthetic appeal.All in all it works as intended and seems to be a quality replacement.

Our old hose had a tear and the wand wasn't suctioning. This hose fit PERFECTLY! The hardest part was removing the old one, but once that was out, the new one snapped in with ease.

The hose on my Dyson split. This hose is an actual Dyson part and was super easy to install. Now my vacuum is working great again!

The hose arrived on time and I was able to easily install it by popping the tab on the torn one and switching it out. When on, the hose suction functions like the original hose!

Buyer beware. Have had this vacuum for 8 years without issue until the hose broke. Replacement hose broke after 2nd use. Looks like they used a hot glue gun to assemble it.

This was a replacement hose for my Dyson Animal. It fits and works as expected. The hose remains functional and has sufficient quality. That being said, it is different from the OEM hose, slight deviation in suction, something is off on that. Otherwise great product especially considering price of a new vacuum.
