We noticed the original hose was cracked near where it is attached. It was relatively easy to replace..See helpful videos on YouTube.

Hose was completely made bad, hose will not stay connected with vacuum. Very bad quality. Save yourself the hassle, and just buy from DYSON or OEM.

Buy the insurance. You're going to need it. Poorly made, and already detached after the second use. The glue is sticky all around but not enough to keep the hose on.I would honestly just purchase through dyson because this is the 3rd one and they all have done this.

Our Dyson stopped picking up and after looking it over, a crack in the hose was found. We ordered a replacement and it's working great again.

Make sure you have the right tubing for the right model. It fits exactly snug and secure on my vacuum cleaner. I had to push it into place more than once to make sure it snapped in. It works fine and my vacuum cleaner works great now.

It was easy to install. Works perfectly. If your old hose breaks don't bother doing the repairs, just go with this replacement. I repaired mine but the repair didn't last.

I have had this Dyson sweeper for about six years. It was the best price at $400. I went to use the suction hose the other day and the hose had split so I purchased this new one which came very quickly. The old hose was incredibly hard to get off before putting on this new one. I think the Dyson's are one of the best built sweepers even though the DC 40 is a seven out of 10 online I think it's a nine out of 10 except for continuingly having to buy filters in order for it to work at 100.

YouTubed the installation instructions. Took 5 minutes. Fit great, works great. Cheaper than Dyson website, I believe it's genuine Dyson.

The hose works great, just like the original part. Easy to install, just takes a bit of a pull to get the bottom detached from the vacuum, but still simple. The first hose which was sent failed - the end nozzle came off - which made it even less functional than when we were using the original that was torn. But we were able to get it returned and replaced quickly.
