This unit is far superior to the original small turbine brush that came with the Dyson. In fact, Dyson does not make the original furniture/hair turbine available. I think it was because of the poor design and did not do that great of a job. This Dyson tangle free is so much better.

brushes are powered by the suction of the vacuum. not powerful on regular mode. barely adequate movement on “MAX” mode!!this attachment needs its own electric motor to keep constant movement/ power to the circular brushes to perform properly. sorry i purchased the unit!!!

This attachment is AWESOME!!! I have a chair that our yellow lab loves to sleep in. With all the hair he sheds and leaves in this chair, another dog is found. I put the attachment on the wand of my Dyson vacuum and in no time, the chair was hairless. Love it
