Mission: The mission of Eastside Audubon Society is to protect, preserve and enhance natural ecosystems and our communities for the benefit of birds, other wildlife and people.

Results: We are well known for our restoration efforts in Marymoor Park to create the Audubon Bird Loop. Over the past 35 years, we have provided hundreds of classroom presentations on birds, taken hundreds of individuals on field trips, provided dozens of students with scholarships, and provided community outreach to thousands of people in King County on birds, wildlife, and conservation efforts.

Target demographics: We support environmental education and conservation through a shared love of birds. We offer nature walks and bird trips, restore habitats, influence environmental policy, and offer classes to adults and children

Direct beneficiaries per year: Maintain bird habitat at Marymoor Park, inspired hundreds of people with bird classes, field trips, and program nights, supported conservation awareness throughout the state, provided scholarships for materials to local classroom teachers, and gave away two college scholarships.

Geographic areas served: Lake Washington to the crest of the Cascades, north up to the King county line and south to include Issaquah.

Programs: Conservation Activites, Bird Friendly Communities, Birding Field Trips, Adult Education Classes, Youth Education Classes and Scholarships
