Definitely a thick cushion. Not the best functionality. Caused a big mess from not sitting on it just so.

I love this product. Made it much easier to use the bathroom after surgery. Highly recommend if toilet is low and bending to sit is unbearable .

The person I bought it for does not like it at all. She is a large woman and it slides and she is afraid of falling
