It works perfectly fine for us. Our two years old baby have learned to use it because it's so easy that we are training him on how to put the trash where it belongs.

My standard poodle is a trash hound. This find actually keeps her out. Easy for me to use, impervious to her as long as I remember to set the latch. Bag holder is also a plus and works well. 3rd can I've tried and it's a winner.

Trash can is the standard 13 gallon but seems more compact than others. It can close to the wall without interfering with the lid. Motion sensor has been very accurate, even picking up the occasional dog tail. The power source is a must if you have a nearby outlet, others with just a battery compartment are useful but who wants to deal with replacing batteries?

We bought this as a replacement for a different model made by the same company. The other one lasted three years and we had no idea how much we would miss it until it was gone. The motion activated lid is everything! We use ours with batteries instead of the optional adapter. The batteries last a long time. We think this trash can is worth every penny.

I don't have the odor filter installed, basket gets emptied every 3-4 days. Sensor is great, we love this thing.

Have had this trash can for 3 years and love it. Just now changed the batteries for the second time. Touch less Works every time! Highly recommend and plan to get more.

Good for the average kitchen, used D batteries, motion activated so it will open automatically if you have a pets also does not come with an a/c cord

I purchased this bin in March, and I'm so disappointed because , it stopped working, and I'm using the adapter, so I know it's not a battery issue. I want my money back. You better off stick with a step bin

I got two of these to stop my 7 month old goldendoodle puppy from knocking over my trashcans while I was asleep or out of the house, because he would spread trash all over the house. Needless to say, these are impenetrable and we haven't had any issues keeping him out of these. I took stars off because the motion sensor doesn't work at all.

Was in the market for a new solution for our cats' litter box waste. We keep the can in our garage and our former cheap plastic one with press-open lid seeped odor and made our garage smell like a large litter box. Found this gem of a trash can and it holds the smell very wellno more stinky garage and we enjoy the automatic sensor, too.; it works great. We wrap the litter box waste in a plastic grocery bag first, then toss it in the trash can. We paired it with the Besli 8 oz black trash bag (0.9 mil). The 8 oz can is just the right size to hold a week's worth of litter box waste from our three cats.

We bought this to replace one we have had for several years. This one is much quieter and not as motion sensitive as the one we had!Very happy with this purchase.One thing I will say, if you fill out the card for the free item the company says they will send you, they don't put enough postage on the package and USPS will collect the difference from you if you want the package they have for you.

This was purchased as a replacement for a similar trash can. I like the fact that it has two power options - plug in or battery operated. The plug in was optional and I would highly recommend purchasing it.

I have loved this trash can since the day I bought and was disappointed when it suddenly stopped working less than 5 months later however after contacting customer service they are sending me a new lid. So happy with my purchase/ experience!
