It's a normal trash can but, it has a unique function. Whether by power plug or batteries, when you wave the lid, it will automatically open up. I always say you will now open yourself for this trash and the trash does it. Like I'm a Master Jedi.

This is my 2nd trash bin in 3 years. I have to have the product in my house. The first time I purchased I got the wall plug. The second time it did not come with one. I did save the old one and it worked well. Very nice trash bin to have.

These scented trash packs help make sure that whatever is in your trash car will disappear because of these lemon scents packs. Granted, these packs are limited in time but, it does make sure your guests and yourself don't smell the pile of trash in your garbage can.

Everyone that comes in to OUR home compliments our trash can. I really love the fact that you can just wave and trash can opens. Changing the bags aren't bad either. At first it was a lil complicated as I don't like the edges of the bag to show on the outside of the can. But after a few changes I've figured it out. My husband loves the fact that I can pull the trash out of the can for him to take it out. I can't speak to the odorless feature as we don't really use it. This was a great purchase, worth every penny!

We actually have two of these now. The first we bought for our nursery as a diaper pale. I cannot tell you how awesome this is for dirty diapers. It's so convenient. A friend got us a diaper genie - this is way better in every way.So much so that we purchased a second one for our kitchen. Love love love it!Plus, the customer service is great. The kitchen one stopped opening - 3 minute chat on their website and a replacement lidbis en route. It's taken me longer to write this review.10/10 highly recommend.

It's amazing does exactly what it says. Odor elimination that comes with it still works my trash does not smell at all. Motion sensor like my toddler says it's magic you will not regret purchase

I bought these almost two years ago. If you are a pet owner, especially large breed, (I have a Great Pyrennes) you can't beat them. The top is activated by movement and when it automatically opens and hits their nose they are done! Actually it took my dog twice but I don't think she believed it the first time. No odor...I change the charcoal pods every 6 months. It holds a lot more then you think and goes with my others stainless steel appliances. Very attractive and guests really like it too. When I'm cooking and my hands are a mess, I just hold them over the detector and throw my stuff away. Don't have to touch it. The small one goes in my bathroom and also works great. I love them both!! Great buys!!

This can is unique for usage in the kitchen. I don't have to touch the it to place garbage inside. It's ver practical to maintain cleanliness when cooking

This trash can is ultimately hygiene as your fingers never touch the lid. The only detriment might be that visiting guests may not know that the lid will self- open, so guests must be trained on how to use it.
