I gave this to my niece as a Wedding gift and she absolutely loves it!

I bought 2 of these for our kitchen for trash and recycling. They are a good size and are very sturdy. The motion-detection is also super sensitive which is great for when I need to run to the trash to dispose of something.I only have a few complaints but they do not warrant a lower rating. Complaint 1 - the dang lid very occasionally will close when I am still at the trash emptying plates and whatnot - (I know there is a button to click to keep open) - it closes with attitude and does not care if something (ie my hands and arms) are in its way. I feel like it should stay open longer, especially if I am right in front of the motion thing, but nope - YE BE WARNED. Complaint 2 - the filter cartridge thing in the back (which holds the odor absorber) has fallen off multiple times. It is likely because we overfill the trash and then attempt to compact it to fit even more so I GET how/why they fall off. This has happened on both cans - we like to stuff our trash cans with as much as possible... One we were able to find digging in the trash (not pleasant), however, the we did not catch the other one missing until it was too late (and gone to the dump.) I was super sad about this. I decided to reach out to iTouchless and explained what happened, and a SWEET SWEET lady humored our blunder and sent out a new cartridge and odor thing for free. Couldn't ask for better customer service.

Definitely convenient to have and not need to worry about having a hand or foot free to open a garbage. Only downside is if you take too long scraping a cutting board into it, it might drop on your hand!

I bought the adapter to this can to make it less gross from changing batteries. It's a small and slim can but I love that you just wave your hand over and it opens. I also have a dog who is too smart for his own good so we lock the can regularly from him knowing how to open it himself.

It was a good trash can while it lasted, but the lid opening mechanism died one month after the warranty expired. (1 year) I would not recommend it for others due to the poor quality of the mechanism.

Love my new hands free garbage can. Always bought can with pedal but will never do that again. Touch-free is the way to go especially with kids

It opens quickly, has a safety latch for babies tht love to play with sensor, it can be plugged in as well as use 4 D batteries, Havent figured out the the odo sensorr yet just got it

Who would've thunk that I would love a trashcan! Not me, but the fact that I laid out some considerable dough for one it should at least interest me.I had a white plastic Rubbermaid where the handle broke off and my husband put in a screw and that was our handle to open the lid for years. It held on to stains and I was just tired of drippings falling on the lid with manually having to use my fingers to open it up. Now with this beauty, that's a thing of the past. The liner ring keeps it all nice and tidy and clean looking. The odor absorber keeps odors trapped even when opening the lid. The sensor is great, it doesn't open unnecessarily for most daily use. I like that it can run on battery for approx. 1 year or can be plugged in through the power adapter, which I also added just in case.

It doesn't close on sensor, you need to wait 10 seconds and it close by itself.
