Great for a one or two person home

Great trashcan, ilike that it senses your movement and opens when you need it.

I got this to eliminate odor as much as possible. I had an ant issue last summer and wanted to get my trash can out from under my sink. This can solves that and is much cleaner. I would buy it again.

Battery life has been 6 months and still going. Works every time. Easy trash bag replacement.

Not too big, longer instead of wider

I bought 2 of these in 2017 and I just got around to buying my 3rd for another part of the house. They work great and this new one has a lid lock to stop animals and toddlers from opening the lid. I also opted to get a AC/DC cable for this one as the previous ones used 4 D batteries. Great addition.

Great product

Bought to replace one we had for about 10 years (different model). No complaints, quiet lift and close. Like option to lock if little kids visit.

Simply the best

Love this trash can. Perfect size and works great. No touch is a game changer. Highly recommend.

First of all, we bought 2 of these. I wanted a garbage and recycling vine that held a significant amount but wasn't an open top. I have it so they're next to each other along the side of the counter and it's the perfect size and the lids open whichever way I want. I spent way too long looking for a garbage can that fit in the narrow space that held a 13 gallon bag. So we bought these. They're obviously great. Except the dent. Was it there before? I'm not sure. My husband immediately hated them with a passion because there wasn't a container in there to pull out the recycling. He made a container (recycled a cardboard box for the recycle bin) to fit into the van and now we can pull it out to throw empty out the recycle without banging the expensive can on the larger one outside. The one thing I really don't like is the part that juts down into the can, I think it's the charcoal absorber. It's just a nuisance and is one more thing to tweak. We labeled them with magnetic recycle and garbage signs so I guess they're not truly stainless steel, probably brushed nickel if that bothers you. I personally hate the stainless I have and despise dealing with the fingerprints, no fingerprints on this. We have yet to put batteries in it. They need a lot of the expensive batteries and to they're not necessary, it just requires pulling up and then pushing down so I don't really care. I like them, I'd buy them again, but I still think they're overpriced.

Odor elimination

This “extravagant” trash can was a gift to myself. I'm a bit clean obsessed and am constantly throwing things away in my efforts to keep my counters spotless and house clutter free. It's great when you have your hands full constantly. I don't have to stop and empty my hands of everything - I just put my hand over the sensor and it opens - and I get rid of the garbage in two seconds flat. Very convenient and worth every penny!

Love these trash cans! Purchased two a couple of months ago and no complaints so far. Holds just enough garbage, we empty about every other day. Good motion sensor and they look great. Would recommend.

We have ordered these several times, and really like them while they are working. The longest they have lasted was a little over a year. We cook pretty much every night though.

This trash can is suitable for home use, but the sensor is too sensitive. The lid will automatically open if anyone stands in front of it. In addition, I only give 4 stars for the design of the appearance.

I like this trash can, but I have ordered 2 of them and both lids have broken. I am very frustrated that after about a year, they each have broken and no longer are motion activated.

There's nothing worse that trying to put some greasy raw-meat wrapper, or eggshells, in a closed can. The foot-pedal actuated models eventually wear out, but this looks like it will do the trick. One note: there's a port in back for a charger, but it wasn't included. I guess you have to buy it separately. Also, it takes four D batteries.
