So far these work great to hold the square frame of my ‘65 Shelby Cobra.

Must have for any European car enthusiast that likes to get dirty! I wouldn't trust any other jack stands! I still use wood blocks underneath the wheels as an extra fail-safe for my own peace of mind.

I used for a project on my Tesla Model Y and it worked like a charm.

I havent used it yet and wish I could have a replacement set of four since by the time I got around to needing to use it I noticed how much play there was in each of these jack stands.

it held up my 2nd gen Acura mdx securely, I felt safer with this design than the ratchet type.

I wanted the best floor jacks I could get for the money, and all those other jacks are basically just sheet metal. These are expensive but worth it as safety is absolutely essential. I recommend these highly as the quality of the welds and the sturdiness of the jacks are excellent. I used the old jackstands as additional back up and also placed 2 x 8 pieces of wood under the wheels for additional safety.

These stands are far superior to the cheaper ones with the ratchet type mechanism. Don't lose your life over a few bucks..get these sturdy and safe stands.

I wish the quality control was better. These jack stands would be a hundred times better if the quality was better. Take a look at the pictures I took out of the box. Such a shame that you pay so much for a product that looks like that. I know looks aren't everything but that is something I cant get pass. I most likely will be returning these.

Those stands are great for many uses. Looks strong, easy adjustable and safe to use. In the past Months not get rusted, bended, or deformed (in shape/size) like the cheap ones. This make me think that those will last for long, long time. With a bit innovation ideas can be use also in other home/garden/farming projects. Great investment! Thank you.

These are solid stands. Use them on SUV and have zero hesitation getting under the vehicle. I have not had any pin fitment issues as some others have complained about so that may be an isolated QA issue. The welds also appear to be good. Overall i am satisfied and don't regret spending extra over the ratchet type stands for peace of mind and longevity for a crucial piece of equipment.

First and foremost: order these separately, one at a time if you are able. So far I've purchased 3. I need 4 for my 340i and girlfriends Jetta. If you order them in pairs they will arrive looking pretty jacked up, no pun intended. Packaging for a single is bad enough. All 3 boxes I've received so far have been banged up with parts of the stand penetrating the cardboard. No damage to the stands though, which is why it's important to only order one at a time.The paint coating is fine, but nothing special. I am considering spraying these with plasti dip or rust-oleum to give them a layer a protection. I'm convinced they will last for life as long as rust and corrosion stays away.The welds are not great, but they're more than enough to keep the jack stand from falling apart. The rubber caps are a nice touch, but I don't see them lasting long. Hockey pucks do fit perfectly in the recessed circle at the top of the stand which is why these are so desirable.My main issue is the price. One of these costs as much as a pair of stands that will safely get the job done. It's not like these are made in the USA and they certainly aren't made with crazy attention to detail. One stand is not worth $55 which seems to be what the price always is. Price history shows that the price does not deviate from $55. These are worth $35 a piece. $35 would be a very fair asking price and means you can get 4 for $140 which I would be fine with. Instead I'm spending $220 for 4 of them, which is how much my jack cost. This is the only jack stand available with this design, which is unfortunate as it is the safest and also most functional for the types of cars we will be putting on them. It's unfortunate that they cost so much, but I justify it by hoping they will last for life and give me the peace of mind of safety while underneath a vehicle. Still, it would be nice to receive some sort of bulk discount from having to buy 4. I will update this review as I use them.

I got two of these to do work on my 2003 Honda Element. Understandably, I was pretty nervous when lowering the car onto the stands for the first time. I had zero issues, though. Yeah, the ratcheting stands offer more height options but I simply trust the pin-style stands much more. These stands held up my car for over a week. I would definitely buy another pair if needed.

The product is very sturdy. That plus the safety pin give me extreme worry-free confidence to get under a car.

Finally took the plunge and bought 4 of these and wow, I wish I had these 30 years ago!!! Four is pricey I get it, but they are definitely worth it.Couple this with a Schwaben low profile jack and I can easily lift the X5 or two convertibles with no problem, both of which have low clearance.Very stable, although the higher you go the more movement you will get, this is normal.Are they perfect, no, nothing is. But I love using them and will enjoy them for the next 20 years.

These are build like a tank! They're beefy and strong. Dealer wants to charge me 2k to change the transmission fluid. I said screw that, bought these and did the job myself. I took my time and the car was on the jack stands for 4 days. Saved me a ton of money.
