Mission: Eastern Virginia AIDS Network (EVAN), formerly known as the AIDS Fund, Inc. is a private non-profit organization whose purpose is to support and maintain the best quality of life for persons infected and affected by HIV and to reduce the overall incidence of HIV infection by providing education and information to the general public.
Results: In the past twelve months, we have provided 6137 units of medical case management for 390 active clients. We have also provided free HIV testing for 1058 individuals in our community. We have provided 1024 units of transportation for 135 clients of the agency. These are just a few services that we provide including meal programs, counseling, case management, housing, and medical and medicine co-pay assistance.
