I used this to drain a very large fishtank for cleaning. It worked great and was much faster than emptying that huge tank with a bucket!!

The product worked well to remove water where a 1/3 HP water pump is too big for the task. The small, clear hose works if there's no debris that can clog it. The hose diameter should be the same on both sides or use a smaller diameter hose on the IN side. It worked well for my purposes. I used a chorded drill. I did not try a battery powered drill. I only had to remove about 3 gallons of water.

Make sure you have water in it before using it it will leak around the shaft. Got two one for fish tank and one for camper . Camper started leaking after running it out of water for a Short time . Fish tank one did good for awhile then it started leaking _x000D_. But pumps well just sprays water I just use a towel

I bought this to empty the tray under my refrigerator. It works perfectly! Super easy to use! Water flows like crazy.Just two notes: 1) You need to use a drill; it is a mechanical pump, not an electric one. 2) You must keep the pump at least in the same height of the water source (below is much better). It is physics, basically.

I have used this pump for a variety of fluids and have been pleased how well it has held up and how well it works. Been using it for about two monthes.It has a regular place in my plumbing and auto toolbox.

I needed a siphon in a downstairs room. This filled the bill just fine. It took me some fiddling to get the right setup with my drill to get it working efficiently, but in the end it was great.

My expectations were not high based on others' reviews, but I had a small flooding problem in our defunct dishwasher and had to pump out the tub. It took about three minutes with this pump and my 18V DeWalt drill (though I had to change the battery in midstream, but that was my fault for not starting with the fully-charged spare). I read the instructions carefully and lubricated the pump with a few drops of vegetable oil before starting, which freed it up nicely. Cleaned it out with clear water when I finished and packed it all back up in the box for next time -- the little plastic reel for the hoses is a neat touch. All in all, for what I paid for it, and for what I needed it for, it performed like a champ.

i pumped for about 3hrs to get all the air bubble out of the furnace (boiler) and actually pumped the pressure up to 11psi that is recomended for my system

I used this to drain some holes that flooded in our garden. Used battery drill on highest speed and it pulled everything out including some cruddy water. Had it draining through about 100' of hose to the street with no issues. Flushed it with clean water when done and good to go for the next time.
