Works great but my only dislike is that the temperature dial is very easy to bump when grabbing ahold of the iron and therefore changes the temperature setting too easy.

Great iron, heats up quick and works so well. Evens out the wax across the ski very fast. I wax my skiis almost every time now because it’s so easy. Sure beats the clothes iron I was using.

There are kits out there that come with irons but I bought all the items I needed to do my snowboard tunes for $50 less than the dakine kit. This iron is clutch, get one.

Buyer beware, I received this and it would not turn on. Never gets hot. Tried everything. Returning for full refund. Would have given 0/5 stars if I could. Do not buy this product, I'm serious.

This is a nice looking but unfortunately not a reliable iron. Two major issues here. 1) The dial used to set the temperature is flimsy and does not stay firmly in place. While melting wax bar and simultaneously spreading the wax on the base, any light touch to the dial control will move it easily to either direction altering previously set temperature and creating light chaos in the process of spreading melted wax. 2) The temperature set by the dial control is not actual true temperature that the iron maintains. In my case it was about 10C (Celsius) higher than the set temperature. A minor issue is that the set point for the tempreture is located under the handle in a hard to view location which also makes it difficult to set the tempreture. I bought this iron to primarily use it for applying hot racing wax on my xc skate skis and occasionally on my alpine skis. Overall it’s not worth the money and it’s not worth getting accustomed to the iron’s obvious design flaws and technical flaws.

This iron no longer works. No longer heats and the light does not come on. It is worthless now. Would not recommend this ski wax iron.

We bought this to replace a 10 year old one of the same brand that stopped working. It works great, but it's hard to see the numbers on the dial behind the handle! A variety of temperatures is required for waxing XC skis, so that flaw in the design is a bit annoying.
