Results: Amazing milestones! Tanzanians have the deed for the 1,000 campus and from a grassy hill just ten years ago, now stands Karagwe University College of Agriculture. Groundbreaking was in 2012.International partners in Tanzania, the United States, Scandinavia and Europe joined hands to build the university, provide power and water, curricula, farm plots, livestock and much more. KARUCO was dedicated and inaugurated on October 29,2017 and opened October, 2018.KARUCO students study entrepreneurial methods of farming and are eager to apply the riches of their learning. ETI is expanding to build ROCS - Rural Opportunity Centers which will focus on Food Processing, Farm Implement Rental, a Training Center and an Indoor Market. ROCs will provide a business hub where farmers can sell crops and wares, rent equipment and learn entrepreneurial farm methods at the training center. Increased incomes, new understandings - a hub for entrepreneurship - all lead to improved lives for all 450,000 in Karagwe. Be part of the story.
