I am 175 lb/5'6 with wide hips. Most male style shorts tend to fit too tight in the thigh region or are too tight on the waist, on a curvy female body. These are excellent and do not have that problem. Plenty of open leg room, not too much room in the crotch region (when the male body needs extra space downstairs), and I don't have to hitch them up past my waist to avoid the top of the inseam. I have full movement and no constriction, the fit was as expected. The pockets on the side are kind of shallow and would fit an iPhone when on its side, but they are too small/not deep enough for my Android phone. The back pocket is velcro closure and it is deep enough for my phone (and also where I tend to put it).

The fit and appearance are as expected. The smallish cargo pockets aren't modern smart phone ready. They are for little things.

Quality material and made to wear well, BUT the lower side pocket doesn't fit phones. One must use the pocket above, and it is a tight fit. A bit of a disappointment.

Great! Fits perfect on my husband he has a big butt and big muscular thighs so sometimes it's hard to shop online not knowing if the material will be a bit tight glad they fit perfectly! They are stretchy and a nice length! Will definitely look for different colors for him.
