Eldergarden provides interesting activities for adults during weekday hours. These individuals are often frail elderly who live alone, or adults who live with their families but need care during the day. Their families use this much needed respite time to remain employed or to regain their own health. Hours of attendance are determined by the family and transportation can be provided.
Eldergarden’s activities include music, art, gardening, cooking, history, current events, daily chair exercise, and outings. Health is monitored, including routine blood pressure checks, and blood sugar testing and medication reminding can be completed with a physician’s order.
