This is the missing link of test accessories when trying to measure voltage/signals in automotive-type electrical connectors. They seem to me to be the happy medium between slim (to get into connectors) and thick (for robustness). I think normal care of these is all that's needed to assure a long life, and they're not so expensive that a second emergency set would be unaffordable to someone who uses these for work.(These are not the kind that slip over probe tips, but into shrouded jumper ends - the kind with similar connectors at both ends, minus probes. So if you're already using a TL220 set, for example, this would be a good companion.)Wish I knew about these years ago!
