Wow! I’m so happy I found this. My boyfriend saw this at the Natural Products expo and sent it to me since I’m vegan (so it’s hard to find products that work that also have minimal ingredients). I love the chocolate flavor how healthy the ingredients are. I’m excited to try the other flavors.

What an amazing product! Feels very light on the stomach and i love the flavour. At first i was thinking it might be ok because i dont prefer monk fruit but i didn’t get that taste at all.

I've tried three flavors of the protein powder, and they all are very disgusting and taste like dirt. They have a gritty texture that does not blend out no matter what you do. Truvani is an excellent protein powder that is also plant-based and taste delicious! Do not buy this disgusting brand unless you enjoy the taste of dirt!

This review is for the Elements Plant Based Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder - Meal Replacement Shake Made from Pure Organic Yellow Peas amp; Raw Cacao - Keto, Dairy Free, Soy Free, Paleo, and Non-GMO - 1lb - 14 Servings. First off, the powder smells really good. The directions say to add 2 scoops (4 tablespoons/32g) to 8oz liquid. I added 1/2 the recommended amount to soy milk and tried it both cold and hot. There was no scoop included. To be sure it mixed well, I put the powder and milk in a ball jar and shook it with a lid on. This worked well. I preferred the taste hot. Based off other reviews, I was surprised to like the taste as much as I did. It doesn't taste as good as an unhealthy sugary hot chocolate, and I didn't expect it to. I do like the taste enough to consider having this in hot soy milk as a treat and not feel guilty. I even tried it after adding just a touch of maple syrup and that was a really good, but I try to avoid sugar of any kind and it was not necessary. I did not find the product chalky and think it would work great mixed in a smoothie or almost anything that would taste good with a bit of chocolate flavor. I probably would not like the taste in just water, but did add a tablespoon to my oatmeal and that was good. Chocolate oatmeal! LOL I generally try to avoid any processed foods, but consider this Elements powder to be pretty good health wise. I like that many of the ingredients are organic. I also like that the label says the powder is non-GMO, 0g added sugar, and vegan. It also says it has no gluten, no soy, is plant plant based, and is keto/paleo friendly. The powder is sweetened with monk fruit extract. The best by date I received was 16 months. Now a little about my opinion on this product vs other opinions which may be different: I eat a whole food plant based diet. When I'm being good and eating 100 WFPB I have trouble keeping weight on because I get too full to eat as much as I need to. When I'm eating 90 WFPB just the 10 that is not clean eating is enough for me to keep or gain weight, but I prefer to eat as clean as possible. So, sometimes I add protein powder to my foods to help keep the weight on. In general, I don't like the taste of protein powders at all and although some reviewer didn't like the taste of this Elements powder, I actually thought it was pretty good. Of course it doesn't taste as good as something with lots of sugar, chemicals, and processed ingredients, but for something that is pretty healthy for you, I have no complaints. I think it makes a difference to know if the person reviewing is an Omni eater, vegan, WFPB etc. Omni or Vegan reviewers may be comparing the taste of this to other great tasting, but unhealthy protein powders. If you are WFPB or at least someone who consistently stays away from processed foods and sugar, I think reviews by other people who eat a similar diet would be more accurate because our tastes buds have adjusted to a low sugar diet and are different.

This protein powder has a true plant based taste. The powder is very versatile. It mixes well and has a slight chalky texture. I've mixed the powder with water, dairy/plant milk, latte, and smoothies. My favorite use was mixing it into a latte and smoothie. Mixing the powder with water tastes similar to oat milk. The chocolate flavor is very subtle.

be warned this is more like a protein filled cacao powder than it is sweetening. It’s great to add to smoothies or to bake with, but it can be a little bit chalky by itself.

This comes in a resealable, foiled pouch. It's as easy to use as any protein powder and dissolves fine. The flavor is chocolatey and enjoyable...not perfect but it is easy to drink. Better than many powders and it seems to be more natural.

review is for: Elements Plant Based Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder - Meal Replacement Shake Made from Pure Organic Yellow Peas amp; Raw Cacao - Keto, Dairy Free, Soy Free, Paleo, and Non-GMO - 1lb - 14 Servings Firstly, I don't know a lot about protein powders. I will say I am trying to learn how to incorporate into a healthier diet and exercise program. This looked like a good topic after checking ingredients and the company. I think there is a lot of good with this product. I have no reason to doubt the benefits and the quality of the product. I think it can work well. For me however, there are 2 things that stood out to me as not so positive. I will say this, I don't have a lot of experience with these products so I really don't have a comparison point. Maybe they are are similar? Firstly the taste. It's not great, and there is an aftertaste to me. I can't really nail down what it is but it's not dissimilar to a non-sugar sweeteners. Second, it's pretty chalky. Is this typical? I don't know.

So I've been using this for a few weeks now in various formats till gone. I've tried it in water. I've tried it in almond milk. I've tried it even in coffee. Every version has a slightly odd taste/aftertaste. Not a deal breaker but definitely there. Coffee definitely exacerbates it the most but it is present in the water and almond milk. It also has a slightly chalky texture I'm not used to with pea proteins as they are one of my staples I interweave with my whey proteins. I do like the initial taste. The ingredients are very solid but the price is high compared to standard pea protein which is less than a third of the cost if not more from other sources. This makes this a "quality over quantity" issue and if you are seeking the enhancements this offers it may have value.

I originally tried this with water and found it to be bitter sweet with a very mild hint of a flavor that is similar to dry cereal from the plant based ingredients. The powder dissolves pretty easily and fortunately doesn’t have a gritty mouthfeel like some of the other protein powders. This won’t replace my dairy based protein shakes, but is a decent substitute for those times when a power is more convenient, like camping or air travel.
