We got this kit when we decided to just replace all the heat related parts after our dryer stopped heating up. The upside? Our dryer gets hot and we don't have to make a trek to the laundromat every week. The downside? Installation was not all that simple, as we had to bend the metal on the large heating element piece to make it fit like the original part did. Just beware that it may not be exactly the same design as your original machine parts.

Maytag front load dryer quit heating, so I purchased this kit thinking something here would fix it. Turns out the heating element was burnt out, but I replaced everything included here while I had it taken apart. Now there is heat again! Writing this review right after putting all back and a successful test run, optimistic it will hold up long term.

Bought this in Feb, 16 2021, installled on Feb 20, 2021 and died on 12/06/2021.This product claimed to be Sturdy and high quality which are a bunches of false of information.Save yourself the trouble of opening up your dryer again in a few months to replace the same part again... Go with the OEM at least you dont have to go through this same cycle.

The package came with all new parts to renew the system. I installed them all because it's a time consuming chore to get to the element. There are videos of similar dryers that can be used, but several steps had to be figured out because our dryer is different. Job done, part working well so far.

Be sure to have tools to replace the part. 1/4 inch driver, socket set, flat head screwdriver, elbow grease, and motivation. Took less than an hour to replace.

Unless this part is two part in one, I could not use the thermostat part in my 2006 Maytag dryer. In the pic is the one I needed with the black on it to connect wire too.

My Whirlpool front load dryer stopped drying clothes. Everyone can relate to having a full load of laundry and opening the door to discover soggy clothes. You stop and question if you choice them correct option on the dryer- plausibility of happening depends on how you use the option.My husband and I do a lot of DIY projects and have developed a good working knowledge of manuals, manufacturing websites and respect for electrical wiring.This part came quickly and was easy to replace.Have a good multimeter and follow directions and you too will have dry clothes !

It covered a wider variety of models, you might have to figure some things out because they aren't really labeled and the things you pull out like the original thermostat will look nothing like the replacement parts. Most issues can be resolved by a quick online search for replacement parts, it went very quickly. One to one swap was great, the new element is perfectly machined to fit the old shroud, no fighting with any of it, what a nice change from some appliance replacement parts kits. Cheap way to make your dryer good as new!

I purchased this twice. Once in March of 2020 again in April 2021, just to have a spare if the one purchased in March failed. I was impressed that my first purchase of this was still working after a year that's why I went ahead and bought it again, as a spare part, this past April. Well, the original one I purchased in March 2020 finally failed after 1 year 7 months. I was content with how long it lasted, given it's low price. Unfortunately, when I replaced it 3 days ago with the spare I bought in April 2021, it immediately failed within about 45 seconds. Bummer. So I bought a different brand, received it in a day that one is working fine so far. So I was content with the first purchase of this kit extremely dissatisfied with my second purchase of the same kit. 4 stars for the March 2020 purchase 0 stars for the second purchase.
